Henry Yanes is the founder of Friendly Kite School and an IKO-certified kitesurfing instructor. He has helped develop Friendly Kite School in Playa Buen Hombre, Dominican Republic, and Praia de Macapá, Brazil, with a strong focus on safe instruction, professional standards and supporting local kiteboarding communities.

Through Friendly Kite School, Henry works alongside IKO-certified instructors and supports opportunities for local riders and young people through kitesurfing, training and professional development.

Henry also writes and contributes to Friendly Kite School’s educational content, sharing firsthand knowledge about kitesurfing safety, instruction, destinations, equipment and choosing professional kite schools.
